Service Quote Snapper ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.
1. Information We Collect
Account information
When you create an account we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth). Business owners also provide company name, phone, email, address, and license number during onboarding.
Quote data
We store the quotes you create, including customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, job addresses, job descriptions, line items, and totals. This data is associated with your company account.
Photos
Photos you attach to quotes are stored in our secure cloud storage. You retain ownership of all photos you upload.
Usage data
We collect basic usage data including app interactions and error logs to improve the service. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the quoting service
- To generate branded PDF quotes on your behalf
- To enable team collaboration between owners and technicians
- To send transactional notifications (approval requests, outcomes)
- To process subscription billing via the App Store or Google Play
- To respond to support requests
- To improve the app based on usage patterns
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with third parties except as described in this policy.
3. Quote Sharing
When you share a quote using the app, the PDF is generated on your device and shared using your device's native share sheet (iOS Share or Android Share). The recipient's contact information is not transmitted to our servers as part of the sharing process — you are sharing directly from your device to the recipient.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure hosted in Canada and the United States. We use row-level security to ensure that company data is accessible only to authorised users of that company. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
Photos are stored in encrypted cloud storage. Quote records are stored in an encrypted database. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the app:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
- RevenueCat — subscription management (does not receive your quote data)
- Apple App Store / Google Play — payment processing for subscriptions
Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We do not control their data practices.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us using the form on our Contact page. We will respond within 30 days.
You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Account deletion removes your personal data. Company data and historical quotes are removed within 30 days of account deletion.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 90 days after the cancellation date before being permanently deleted, unless you request earlier deletion.
8. Children's Privacy
Service Quote Snapper is intended for use by adults operating business accounts. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, by sending a notification through the app.
